C. S. Lewis warned, “you can’t get into Narnia the same way twice.” Generally, that is true. 

Lightning doesn’t strike the same place twice. Again, usually true.

Today, I sought to clear up some confusion about baptism. Then, I invited Christ-followers who had never been baptized to come – street clothes notwithstanding – and they came! 

For the second Sunday in a row, as we sang, Christ-followers grabbed a towel, descended into the baptistry, and declared their faith in baptism. I’m not sure how many – somewhere around 20? 

J. I. Packer encouraged pastors “not to neglect the revival dimension of their ministry.” I wonder if that is what we are beginning to see.
