Yesterday, Ruthe and I rode into Sturgis, Mississippi. Every rider knows about Sturgis, South Dakota – hundreds of thousands of motorcycles, venders, rides, chats about motorcycles, country music, the Christian Motorcyclist Association tent with free water and lemonade, and some pretty unsavory stuff.

Sturis South is located in Sturgis, MS, about 85 miles south of Tupelo. Sturgis has a population of 186 souls, one stop light, less than a dozen stores – and this weekend, about 30,000 motorcylists! We had a ball!

At one point, we spied a bicylist riding down Main Street (which was lined with hundreds of motorcycles). I said to Rob Coats (one of our elders, and a fellow rider), “that sure looks strange.” He said, “nothing could look strange here.”
