Pastor Sam and Ruthe,
We are now in Edmond, OK attending a church that you recommended to us. We are realizing, however, that your passion and ability to articulate God’s word is a rare gift! Thank you for serving Christ in the way you and your family do.
Also, if there are any podcasts to any of your sermons, please let us know.
God bless your family.

Dear Sam,
It sure is good to hear your voice (I really do hear your voice when I read your words) again!!! Thank you for keeping yourself real and staying in-touch. Everybody loves you!!! I’m very relieved to know you are still sharing and caring, and because of the internet (wow) you are only a moment away. Isn’t God great; He makes me glad!!!!!
God has surely made His face shine upon you.

Sam,
I have enjoed comming here to see what words of wisdom you have to share. You had quite an impact on this young college student’s life while you were serving in New Mexico. Thanks for all you have done. By the way, there is nothing wrong with a Honda, I’ve got one myself.
God bless you and your family.

Excellent pictures. A great looking bunch.
Wow! Ya’ll look like some ‘road ready’ customers!
Excellent gear.
Btw, there wouldn’t be that much maintenance required (or repair) since it’s a Honda.
It’s almost time to get out on a tour to ‘nowhere in particular’.
“The ride is the reason. The destination is only an excuse.”

What great photos!! It’s such a joy to see your family…you must be so very proud of them! We are so humbled and thankful that you have made your new home in Tupelo, and we are joyously anticipating serving with you here. May our loving Father bless you and your family as you continue to serve Him.

Sam,
I love the pictures! Chad and I still continue to pray for you and Ruthe daily. We miss you and your smiling faces terribly! You have set a precedent in ministry that Chad and I look up to greatly and aspire to be more like as individuals and as a couple. The overflowing love in your hearts for the Lord and His calling is undeniable. Thank you for being Sam and Ruthe Shaw. Your realness is addicting and admirable. Chad and I love you both very much and thank God for the time we had with both of you.
Be blessed,
Lauren Lowrey Watson

Sweet Sam and Ruthe,
Oh my goodness! I was just fine this morning until I saw your faces and your family here on this website…. You all look wonderful. I MISS you both BIGTIME!
Praise be to God for HIS grace and mercy etablishing your path and direction to TUpelo.. (“YOUR HAIR”-THat’s what “tupelo” means in Spanish:)
Can ya’ll feel the drips of tears of JOY while “missin U?”
You and Ruthe and your family are in my prayers often; and the Lord just reminded me today of that vision He gave me when you were in the midst of fire back in the days of GBC… Remember Pastor- I told you I saw you in a clear bubble while someone was beating you! Well here’s the verse to go with it! Confirmation! Psalm5:12
For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a sheild…
Is that not remarkable! Oh Dear God how I thank you for speaking to me today and reminding me of my Pastor, because of this verse I came to see the website that I haven’t visited in a long time and found out about my Ruthe’s elbow and knee and Eloise.. I will call all my prayer warriors in your defense… Ann Slater, Billie Cash, Carolyn Bannister, Marla Nitsch, and MANY more…,
Earnestine Hunt,(God is working with reuniting ” SoulSisters” Ellen Olford has invited me to be apart of THE CRUSADE at Central- Please pray for HIs will be done about racial reconsiliation…WIsdom, while walking by faith

Sam & Ruthie,
I love the pictures–especially the motorcycle one–you two are something else-ha! Stay young and have fun while loving our Lord! That’s my motto-ha! Mom and I have been planning for some time now to drive down and see yau’ll. There are several others who want to join our caravan-ha!
I saw your son, Charlie, not long ago at TLC and he was really lovin’ it. God has continued to bless us at LH and we are growing. But we sure miss you Sam! Take care and God bless you, Ruthie and the rest of your family.
In His Service, Diane

Explored your blog after seeing it refered to on Facebook.
There are lots of Spanish speaking people in NYC so you need to come to visit sometime.
We are jealous of all your beautiful grandchildren but we have our first on the way in March!
“Favorites” we have in common – 24 is the only show I attempt to see “live” We also like Burn Notice. We carried Season 2 with us as we travelled Europe this summer.
Oklahoma sports.
Not much else. Golf instead of hunting, Swedish instead of Spanish, etc.
Hope to see you at the reunion in June
