I’ve had a very intensive 6 weeks –
Sunday mornings, at First Evan in Tupelo, I’ve taught through Ruth – a wonderfully rich story of providence.
On several Wednesday and Friday mornings, I’ve had the privilege of teaching the life of David to 30 young men from the Memphis area. The sessions last about 2 hours, and begin at 5:45AM!!!! The studies are done under the leadership of the Downline Institute - a discipleship training ministry based in Memphis. What a great study David has been.
This week, I’m teaching 1 John at First Baptist Church, Stillwater, OK, where my friend Tim Walker serves as pastor. Tim and I have been friends for 35 years – it’s been great to spend time with Tim and Cathy, and see the good work God is doing through their ministry.
Ruth, David, and John – all had huge hearts for God, all took risks for God, and all are love stories.
